For six decades, the Law Commission has played a vital role in reviewing, updating and simplifying the laws of England and Wales. Its work has shaped so many aspects of our lives - through family law and housing to business regulation and public services. Yet, it has made much of this impact quietly, behind the scenes. So, this project was about shining a light on six decades of legal reform in a single, compelling visual narrative.
What does creativity look like? At the University of Exeter, it’s not confined to the arts — creativity is woven through everything. Working with the university’s Arts and Culture team, we designed a vibrant visual guide for staff — spanning all disciplines and departments — that makes creativity visible, accessible and impossible to ignore.
Over the past decade, we have worked with our Kings Cross neighbours, The Alan Turing Institute on a range of creative briefs to support their groundbreaking research and development. Most recently, we crafted a new logo design for its TRE Community to give it a more cohesive visual identity.
Researchers at Exeter University teamed up with Scriberia to create an infographic and illustrated handbook that would make the best research on nature-based treatments for common mental health issues more accessible to those with the power to prescribe them.
Helping overseas nurses to build a career and stay in the NHS is the aim of the new Stay and Thrive programme. A series of illustrations and animations enabled the programme to connect with a diverse range of stakeholders and overcome language barriers, contributing to the creation of an inclusive and welcoming culture.
